Vanderbilt baseball defeated LSU 11-3 on March 14 to take the series at Hawkins Field. The Commodores (13-7, 2-0 SEC) got on the board first on an RBI groundout from Ryker Waite in the second inning. After allowing a run in the top of the fourth, they came back with another in the bottom of the inning, then erupted for six runs in the fifth inning.
